Property Description

There's nothing else like this in the area. This 18 hole golf course sits minutes from Lake Superior, the Apostle Islands, and Bayfield, one of the most scenic corners of the Midwest. It's built with 9 shared fairways and two greens per hole, so the front nine and back nine feel like two different rounds even though you're playing the same ground twice. The 60 acre property includes a clubhouse overlooking Chequamegon Bay, 18 golf carts, mowing equipment, and a full irrigation system, all included in the sale. This property also has real upside for a buyer looking to build. Per seller, the City of Washburn has already approved a Planned Unit Development for the property, which would allow for condos, resort lodging, or other recreational uses, with city sewer and water two blocks away. Development documentation available on request. An adjoining 15 acres is also available separately. Per seller, that parcel already has wetland delineation, engineering work, and DNR approval to fill ravines done, plus plans in place for a campground and condos. Development documentation available on request. This is one you really have to walk in person to understand.
